Sunday Small Group Bible Studies
9:30 A.M.
Women in the Word: led by Gretchen Firestone, this group is studying Kay Arthur's Living Victoriously in Difficult Times. It meets in the Library and includes ladies of all ages.
Paradigm: led by Stephanie Miller and Steve Ortell, this group is currently sudying the Old Testament prophecy of Isaiah. It meets next door at A2THS in the media room and targets college students ages 18 to 20 something.
The Home Base: led by Mark Johnston, this group began a three-month study of the New Testament book of Romans on 9/4. The group targets young and median adults and it meets at the A2THS in room 210.
Jesus Es Mi Senor: this is a new group that is studying the New Testament book of Ephesians in Espanol. It meets in the music room.

Living Simple Faith: led by Glenn Hmay, thi sgroup is studying the New Testament book of I John. It meets in the Library and includes adults of all ages.
Living Proof: led by Dr. Tom Gwaltney, this group began a three month study of the New Testament book of Romans on 9/4. It meets in the Fireside Room and targets senior adults.
Potters Hands Deaf Class: led by Tony Galofre in American Sign Language, this group is studying the New Testament book of Romans. It meets in the music room and ministers to the Deaf of all ages and (Children of Deaf Adults).
Mid-week Small Groups
Monday:
Men's Gospel Discipleship Group: led by Chris Blackstone this group meets at Panera Bread (Washtenaw/Huron Pkwy) at 6:15 a.m. This weekly gathering looks back at the Sunday sermon and takes the guys deeper into the biblical tet and into life application.
A Fresh Look at Forgiveness: led by Pastor David & Lynne Daffern in their home from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. this seven week study (9/12 to 10/24) examines Biblical passages and classic works by Christian authors. This is a "twice-fed" Bible Study for all adults (includes a light supper) but space is limited. Contact the Dafferns for more details at: pastordavid@crossroadsannarbor.org.
Wednesday:
Made to Crave: led by Carrie Donaldson, this six week Bible study examines the missing link between a woman's desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment necessary to make it happen. The study meets during AWANA (6:15 - 8:00 p.m.) at the church in the Library beginning October 5. For details contact Carrie at 734-483-2457 or donaldson@gmail.com.
Thursday:
Old Faithful Bible Study Group: led by Antoinette Hopper (and others) in Tom and Antoinette's home (5620 Winslow Ct, Ypsilanti) from 6:30-8:00 p.m., this ongoing small group for singles and married couples is currently studying How We Got Our Bible. (734-961-0001 for more information.)
Women Juggling LIfe: led by Lynne Daffern in her home,(2316 Stratford St. Ypsilanti) from 6:30-8:00 p.m., this six week women's study will begin October 6th. Space will limit the group to 12 ladies. Sign up by emailing lynnedaffern@hotmail.com or call Lynne at 734-717-4205. There will be handouts for each session and the textbook is the Bible.
Hearing God: This women's Bible Study meets every other Thursday in the Church Library from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Currently they are studying from Peter Lord's book Hearing God. This is an ongoing group, but usually takes the winter off. Contact Shirley Slagle at 734-429-4841 for more details.
Deaf Bible Study: This Bible study meets every Thursday in teh Fireplace Room from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The current study is "Little Known People of the Bible A-Z". Contact Dee Gwaltney at deegwaltney@comcast.net for more information.
Saturday:
Y Ahora Que?:This Bible study meets every Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Church Library. Now that you have accepted Jesus as your Savior this class, in Espanol, will help you understand your new relationship with God, how to communicate with Him and how to apply the basic biblical principles to your life.
